White predominates, making the story ethereal and seeped in spirituality. The plot is lost in an announced absence whose drama is subtended, and a powerful symbolic value is affirmed. In some cases the human figure is the main subject and even if the images appear to have sprung from a frozen theatricality, they are actually minimal acts in suspended postures, in which the action can be rediscovered. In other cases, the place of abandonment is represented, but it is an abandonment that has taken place recently, the photo taken perhaps a moment after the event occurred, as if the energy of those had brought it about were still there, present, tangible. Il Bianco predomina, rendendo il racconto etereo, intriso di spiritualità. La trama si perde in un’assenza annunciata, la cui drammaticità è sottesa, e vi si afferma un forte valore simbolico. In alcuni casi è la figura umana il soggetto principale e anche se apparentemente le riprese sembrano scaturire da una teatralità congelata, in realtà si consumano degli atti minimi in posture di sospensione, nelle quali si ritrova l’azione. Altre volte è il luogo dell’abbandono ad essere rappresentato, ma si tratta di un abbandono compiuto da poco. Forse un attimo dopo dal momento in cui è accaduto, come se l’energia di chi l’avesse messo in atto fosse ancora lì, presente, respirabile. S.R.
